In 2004, acclaimed Australian industrial designer Marc Newson unveiled the ZVEZDOCHKA in conjunction with Nike. It could be argued that upon release the bizarre design — which is named after the dog who took part in 2010’s Russian Sputnik 10 Space voyage — was one that was ahead of its time. Now 10 years on, Marc Newson teams up with Nike again to present an updated collection centered around the space-inspired silhouette. Set to release on December 29 via NikeLab, the 10th anniversary ZVEZDOCHKA will be available in five colorways. Stay tuned for more on the reintroduction.
