KAWS ventures off the beaten art path in an upcoming show that takes him to the Eden Rock Gallery in St. Barths. While KAWS’s global brand has taken him across the world many times over and into some major markets, this latest showing is tied to KAWS’s own interest in in the island and time spent on the quaint island vacationing. The show titled “Permanent Vacation” is in conjunction with GALERIE PERROTIN and will feature works that play off the venue’s holiday vibes including the dolphin-shaped piece seen here as well as KAWS’s “MAN’S BEST FRIEND” series — a depiction of PEANUTS characters. The show opens on November 26, 2014 and runs until December 25, 2014.
