GoPro HERO4 Features Touch Display and Shoots 4K Video at 30FPS

A hotly anticipated fourth gadget has been announced in the GoPro action camera series, the last word in capturing never-before-possible action shots. Available in two models, the GoPro HERO4 Black will be able to shoot 4k high-definition video at 30 frames per second, which is 15 frames faster than previous GoPros. Additionally, the Black model boasts double the processing power of the last generation and twice the dynamic range. Unfortunately the Silver model can only capture 4k video at 15fps, but will feature the first touchscreen display in the GoPro series for easy control over video shooting. Both models will be able to capture 12 megapixel still images at 30fps. Other features include waterproofing down to 131 feet (40m), built in WiFi and Bluetooth, along with other software features. The HERO4 is due to be released on October 8.
