In 2010, Hong Kong’s Harbour City presented KAWS first exhibition in the city titled “Passing Through.” On September 18, the New York artist will unveil a follow-up exhibition titled “CLEAN SLATE” — a new monumental sculpture measuring out to seven meters tall. Joining other companion characters seen in past exhibitions across the world — such as recent showings at “Final Days” at CAC Malaga and “Along The Way” at Mary Boone Gallery, “CLEAN SLATE” is among the largest sculpture the artist has ever made and shows the companion figure holding a smaller rendering in his arms – signifying a new chapter in the companion series. “CLEAN STATE” will be on view from September 18 to 19 at Ocean Terminal Forecourt of Harbour City.
