Designer Ronnie Fieg continues his storied partnership with ASICS as the two renew their relationship for their latest collaborative endeavor: “Rose Gold” and “Sage” editions of the Gel Lyte V. Amassing ten different materials between the two, the release sees an updated and reimagined take on the “Rose Gold” colorway that graced the GT-II at the hands of Fieg back in 2012. This time around the colorway sees the addition of a second pantone to the crossing stripes for a bit more depth while the 3M formstripes are asymmetrical–white on the lateral side and blue on the medial.
Joining the “Rose Gold” Gel Lyte V is a “Sage” edition of the retro trainer. Decked out in premium pigskin and combining a microperforated sage-colored vamp with sea green overlays, the kicks sport hits of premium white leather while an open mesh material amplifies the silhouette’s unique sock liner. Rounding out the look are aqua blue formstripes and subtle safari print detailing.
Retailing for $170 USD each, the “Rose Gold” and “Sage” editions of the ASICS Gel Lyte V will be available this Saturday, August 30 at 11 a.m. EDT at Kith‘s 66 Bleecker St. pop-up, Kith Brooklyn at 233 Flatbush, and KithNYC.com.
