The record sleeve for David Bowie’s new album Blackstar has been unveiled ahead of the record’s lead single of the same name’s premier tonight. The sleeve takes a minimal approach, showing a star shape with a vinyl-like texture and star cut-outs in a line against a dark backdrop. Jonathan Barnbrook was the designer behind all collateral and sleeves for Bowie’s most recent record, 2013’s The Next Day, but it has not been confirmed who has designed the Blackstar imagery.
