Artist Paddy Hartley is set to show sculptural poppies made out of pathologically preserved lamb’s heart tissue across London from early November. Funded by the Wellcome Trust, the work is titled Papaver Rhoeas and draws on the synonymity of the poppy in commemorating the World War I.

SNAP Hot Toddy
Today was Philadelphia’s first snowfall and we’re warming up with a SNAP Hot Toddy, a drink traditionally believed to relive symptoms of the cold and flu!
4 parts SNAP
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
2 lemon slices
12 parts hot water (just below boiling)
1 tsp butter
Directions: Divide the first four ingredients between two heatproof cups or mugs. Add the hot water and then divide the butter between the cups. Steep for 3-4 minutes before drinking.
