While disco music might not be the first to call with skateboarding in mind, Alex Olson — son of legendary pro skateboarder, Steve Olson — is one of the rare personas standing in the intersection of both realms. With 10-plus years of professional skateboarding under his belt, Olson began exploring other creative ventures, and became infatuated with fashion styles and music from the ’70s and ’80s. This led to the unveiling of his unisex label Bianca Chando, followed by his newly-founded Know Wave radio station, a platform that allows artistic types to speak their mind.
