Intricately Detailed Sculptures Made from Wild Plants and Weeds by Émeric Chantier

French artist Émeric Chantier creates intricate sculptures constructed from a variety of wild plants, weeds and moss. Merging concepts of the human body with nature, Chantier explores the biological structures that continue to thrive despite our efforts to pollute ourselves and the environment. Speaking about his work Chantier said, “My work is related to nature and the nature-human relationship. It is an exploration of our origins, an ecological awareness of the preciousness of  “mother nature”, a subject dear to my heart and which I believe should be part of a collective consciousness.”
