Working with the most recognizable symbol of today’s contemporary visual culture, Colombian artist and designer Rafael Diaz created a series of colorful skulls carved from Christmas ornaments. The series called “Vanidad”, playfully reminds us of our own mortality and helps us appreciate what we have, compelling us to set new and less materialistic goals.
