Applications close soon for volunteers at the Australian Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale Architecture Biennale. If you would like to participate (usually in 10-day blocks) to help staff the pavilion or take on a coordinator’s role (must be fluent in Italian for this), the Australian Institute of Architects would like to hear from you. The Institute offers accommodation and a small per diem; travel costs and other costs must be met personally.

The role will be unlike previous years, as the 2014 exhibition – Augmented Australia 1914-2014 by the curatorial team of felix._Giles_Anderson+Goad – will be stage without a pavilion. It is constructed around augmented reality, activated with an app for smart devices.
