Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones — sounds like a hilarious party, and that is exactly what Paul Feig is going for. In his reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise featuring an all-female cast, Feig seems to have confirmed the four females’ participation through a Tweet. Feig also Tweeted that the new movie will be hitting theaters July 22, 2016. Wiig and McCarthy both worked with him in the massively successful Bridesmaids, with Feig and McCarthy reuniting again for The Heat. Although there isn’t yet an official press release to confirm these actress’s involvement, we’re definitely looking forward to this fresh reboot of the classic franchise.
