Couverture & The Garbstore Introduce “No Chemicals” Fragrance Collection

Couverture and The Garbstore co-founding designers Emily Dyson and Ian Paley are offering up an alternative to all the synthetic-laden fragrances out there with their own aptly named “No Chemicals” collection. The range includes two Parisian hand-poured candles; a unisex perfume oil and roll-on; and even a box of incense that were crafted in a Japanese factory with over three centuries of experience. Blending a bevy of aromatic spices, the fragrances include notes of everything from pink pepper, bergamot, orange leaves, black tea, and ylang-ylang to beeswax, cassius bark, rose, geranium, ginger and base notes of leather, tobacco, cedar, patchouli and frankincense.

The full “No Chemicals” range can be found both in-store and online now.

Nike Air Rift SP

Originally designed for Kenyan runners and meant to mimic the feel of running barefooted, 1995’s split-toe, Lycra-and-Velcro Air Rift has long been one of Nike‘s more niche running designs. Almost entirely absent from shelves in North America, the nearly two-decade-old silhouette has seen a bit of a comeback as of late thanks to Nike’s “Genealogy of Free” packs–releases that celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original Nike Free Run and the predecessors that inspired it. Now, after appearing as a part of the NikeLab-exclusive black “Genealogy” pack, the unique runner is set to return yet again this August. This time, the Rift joins the newly-revealed LunarSpeed Mariah SP, appearing with a clean royal blue upper that’s juxtaposed with white branding accents and a black rubber outsole. Look for the limited edition Nike Air Rift SP to be available beginning this Thursday, August 7 exclusively from NikeLab.
