Sam Herring of US synth-pop stalwarts Future Islands has teamed up with Californian-born rapper Madlib for an unlikely collaborative hip-hop project. Titled “Trouble Knows Me,” the self-titled 12″ EP produced by Madlib will release on September 1. Check out the first track from the duo, revitalizing Herring’s Hemlock Ernst rap persona, below.
