Incredible 8K Timelapse Video of a Volcano Eruption

On April 22, 2015, the Calbuco Volcano in Southern Chile erupted for the first time in 40 years. Incredible footage of the once-in-a-lifetime event shows an enormous mushroom cloud of churning smoke erupting from the stratovolcano bleeding red, orange and pink hues into tranquil blue skies. The video is the result of pure coincidence as Martin Heck from the Germany-based media production company Timestorm Films team just happened to be at the right place at the right time to catch the event that he shot in both 4K and 8K footage — or Full Ultra HD (FUHD) — with a Pentax 645Z and a Canon 6D. This is Mother Nature at her finest.
