Microsoft Introduces Windows 10 “Edge” Browser to Replace Internet Explorer

Microsoft has finally unveiled its replacement for the now defunct Internet Explorer. Originally entitled Project Spartan, the Edge browser will feature on Windows 10 and support browser extensions from both Google Chrome and Firefox. With a focus on simplicity and minimalism, and features that incorporate note-taking and sharing, Edge will set down a marker for Microsoft in terms of cross-platform ingenuity.
