RISK Paints Mural at Sylvester Stallone’s Former Santa Monica Studio

Los Angeles-based graffiti artist RISK has revisited a longstanding piece he had put up 24 years ago, repainting the building to give it a new life. Assisted by his vast network of artist friends — including Abel, Nathan Ota, Sel Dog, Sonny Boy, Severe and Vyal — RISK has redone the entire building in his signature “beautifully destroyed” aesthetic. The project was commissioned by the building owners who requested RISK to preserve some of the old iconic elements, incorporating it with his new artwork. Located on Cloverfield and Broadway in Santa Monica, the building was once owned by Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone, and now plays host to Rock Paper Scissors, a post production company who edits for the world’s top directors, studios, and advertisers.
