Levi’s Creates “Field of Jeans” Using 18,850 Pairs of Jeans

Levi’s creates a “Field of Jeans” at the San Francisco 49ers‘ new Levi’s Stadium to promote recycling. Using some 18,850 pairs of jeans, Levi’s covers the field in all shades of denim, depicting a recycle symbol at centerfield, which highlights the brand’s focus on encouraging fans to donate to centers, such as Goodwill, instead of discarding denim into landfills where tons of textile are wasted every year. The jeans were collected in a two-week drive in the Bay Area and represents Levi’s approach to sustainability in its business practices. Read more on Goodwill and Levi’s “Field of Jeans” drive here.
