It seems that Virgil Abloh has arrived. The New York Times recently profiled the upstart designer for its style section, shining the spotlight on Abloh’s unique Off-White clothing line. Despite holding the title as Kanye West‘s creative director, Abloh declined to speak with the renowned newspaper about his longtime friend’s sartorial endeavors. But he did reveal that he believes West has promise in the style arena.
“To me, he’s the greatest designer that has yet to be seen,” he said. “His fashion story is long. We’re on the verge of seeing what an overwhelming success it will be.”
