The 2015 Renovo Coupe Introduces Itself as “America’s First All-Electric Supercar”

American auto company Renovo Motors has just revealed its all-electric Renovo Coupe. Starting off with a modified Shelby chassis and the beautiful body of a Shelby Daytona, the company has added Li-Ion battery pack and direct drive motors to give the car 500 horsepower and a 1,000 lb-ft of torque. With all that power, the Renovo Coupe will sprint to 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds before topping out at 120 mph, not bad for a car that promises zero emissions and 100 miles on a single charge. Unfortunately, all that performance and technology doesn’t come cheap; the Coupe will cost in excess of $500,000 USD when it goes into limited production. Find out more here.
